Linguistic Workshops
Language is a carrier of culture, identity, and heritage. At Kashi Foundation, linguistic workshops are organized to preserve and promote endangered and regional languages, dialects, and scripts. These workshops bring together linguists, educators, researchers, and native speakers to engage in capacity-building and revitalization efforts. The goal is to document phonetics, grammar, folklore, idioms, and literature associated with lesser-known languages and ensure their transmission to future generations. Through educational modules, publications, and digital tools, we make these languages accessible to wider audiences. These workshops also serve as a platform for intercultural dialogue and linguistic diversity, essential for sustaining India’s pluralistic ethos. The Foundation sees linguistic preservation not merely as a cultural task but also as a means to empower communities, preserve identity, and foster inclusivity in knowledge systems.
