Collaborations
Kashi Foundation has entered into two significant Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs)—with P.G.D.A.V. College, University of Delhi, and the Vitti AI Foundation, New Delhi—to advance its multidisciplinary mandate through academic and technological engagement.
The collaboration with P.G.D.A.V. College is aimed at fostering academic discourse on the emerging domain of the cultural economy and exploring its potential as a sustainable development pathway. As part of this partnership, the Foundation has conducted a series of academic sessions and interactive lectures focused on the socio-economic significance of India’s cultural resources. Additionally, awareness sessions have been organized to sensitise students about environmental sustainability in the context of tourism, particularly during heritage and pilgrimage site visits.
In partnership with the Vitti AI Foundation, the Kashi Foundation is engaged in research and project development on the integration of artificial intelligence in the tourism sector. This initiative seeks to examine how AI-driven tools and platforms can enhance heritage tourism, improve visitor experience, and generate employment opportunities at the grassroots level—particularly in domains related to India’s cultural economy. The collaboration aspires to bridge technology and tradition, ensuring that innovation is leveraged to strengthen local livelihoods and preserve cultural heritage.
