Bhagwan Birsa Munda Tribal Research and Development Centre
Established with the objective of advancing scholarly understanding and policy-relevant interventions for tribal communities, the Bhagwan Birsa Munda Tribal Research and Development Centre is committed to interdisciplinary research on the socio-economic, cultural, and political dimensions of tribal life in India. The Centre undertakes ethnographic studies, policy analyses, and community engagement initiatives aimed at documenting indigenous knowledge systems, preserving cultural heritage, and facilitating sustainable development among tribal populations. Emphasising participatory methodologies, the Centre seeks to bridge the gap between academic research and ground-level realities, thereby contributing to the empowerment and self-reliance of tribal communities in line with the legacy of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The operational and academic initiatives of the Centre are overseen by Dr. Sangya Dubey, Ms. Deexa Khanduri, and Dr. Ravindera Kumar Meena.
